PeopleMaps Review

I read an article today from TechCrunch about PeopleMaps. I thought it was a very interesting article and concept so I decided to check it out for myself and write a review on it.

First I went to the site directly from TechCrunch and received the following message (no Chrome?):

PeopleMaps Logo

Okay, I will try it with IE. I filled out my “SignUp” info and hit the button. Oops, another error:

Okay, I will try it with FF. It WORKED!! Now I need to wait for my confirmation email. The way things are going so far makes me a little worried. I don’t know if I will actually receive one. Two hours later I get an email saying I can log in now. Never mind, that was an email telling me about the error I received using IE. After requesting them to resend my email confirmation I was up and running. I imported contacts from LinkedIn and Facebook to test it out (it actually took a lot less time than I thought it would, SWEET). Here is my PeopleMap:

I am going to keep playing with it, but up until this point I am not totally excited about PeopleMaps. Very glitchy. I do like having all of my contacts in one place though!! In my opinion, it has potential.
